Eildon Street is a quiet cul-de-sac off Inverleith Row, near the East Gate of the Royal Botanic Garden. Our home at No 18 is a traditional Victorian stone building on three floors; from the South-facing windows we enjoy a stunning outlook over the city's skyline - from Arthur's Seat to Edinburgh Castle, and all the main monuments in between. Princes Street is only 20 minutes' walking distance away; several buses go there from the main road, Inverleith Row.
We have three rooms in all available to our guests, two doubles and a twin room, with private bathrooms. You may relax in the Drawing Room, make yourself tea or coffee at any time, and watch TV or a DVD after a long day sightseeing.. As this is our own home, you'll find a very high standard of cleanliness, comfort and personal attention. Anna is fluent in French and Italian, and can suggest various places to visit in and around Edinburgh.
We love our home; we think you will too
Anna is a member of the Slow Food movement, which believes in "good, clean and fair" food; therefore, our continental breakfast comprises a variety of organically-produced cereals, yogurt, fresh croissants, jams, fresh fruit and a choice of juices, as well as excellent coffee, latte or cappuccino, and a selction of teas.
